About us
It advocates the Placemaking* approach to create spaces where people feel they belong; it redesigns spaces with creative and participatory methods.
Founded in 2020, Roof works for communal living on the roof of the city.
Placemaking involves planning and managing public spaces to facilitate the use of, and with the participation of, people of diverse backgrounds (e.g., children, women, the elderly, and people with disabilities). Simply put, it refers to activities undertaken to create quality spaces that inspire people's desire to live, work, play, and learn.

what we do?
We believe that living together is possible through the relationship established with space. That's why we use design as a tool and, together with communities, we create more democratic, creative and sustainable places.

We give meaning to space through relationships.

We think with communities and transform cities.

We open design to the collective imagination.

We create fair and livable places together.
why do we exist?
Spaces where everyone feels like they belong are possible. Spaces are not just physical places; they are also the locus of collective memories, emotions, and struggles that communities create together.
We believe in and support democratic participation in designing spaces.
