As Roof Coliving, we, in order to meet the spatial needs of young people in the earthquake zone according to different usage practices and to encourage their participation in activities in the use of space: Youth Participation in Public Spaces project was realised. In the short term, the activities in Adana and Hatay increase the participation of young people in social and cultural activities and create participatory design and implementation of youth-focused spaces. Thanks to these spaces, it creates space for people to create many effects such as psychological health, communication skills, stress reduction, strengthening community ties, social solidarity and motivation.

Cine Terra creates a dialogue between the local government and young citizens, improve the knowledge and skills of the participants on climate, civic participation and culture and arts, create a new perspective on sustainable design by local governments, and create a sustainable, circular and impact-oriented pop-up cinema. will improve production practices. Pop-up cinema developed by citizens will be applied in a participatory manner in the public space, and a climate- related dialogue will be created with climate-oriented film screenings and activities in the application area.

The space transformed by focusing on the question is being made public in a participatory, inclusive and creative way. The municipality's 350 square meter Police Department building and its surroundings are creatively adaptive reusing for the inhabitants of Nilüfer, Bursa, with the meaningful  participation of over 3000 citizens, city council volunteers, professional organizations, non-governmental organizations, academics, and high school and university students. Our primary objective is to make the culture of reparation and participation a part of daily life through space by taking what belongs to the public together with the locals.

Program aims to redesign the design of public spaces together with the youth citizens aged 18-29, to make them more inclusive, functional and livable spaces with the experiences, knowledge and abilities of the citizens, and aims to increase the civic participation of the citizens in the urban design processes. The program creates a dialogue space between local government and young citizens, improve the knowledge and skills of participants on sustainability and civic-participation, give local governments a new perspective on sustainability, and design a small-scale public space implementation with sustainable, circular, and impact-oriented. Youth citizens implements concept design in public space.

in THE: PLACE Programme, which we joined following the workshop on housing, is based on this workshop. We considered our involvement in the project as an opportunity to learn how to follow a road map for organising around the right to housing with the help of an experience with concrete results, and we were matched with a partner with this experience, The Allience for Collaborative Real Estate Development (ACRED). At the point where ACRED defines itself, we became associated with them through our partnership to learn from their long years of adventure, to witness their practices, to get to know their community and to think about the possibilities for Turkey. 

The main goal of the project; It is to establish a network so that LGBTI+s can dominate and discuss the housing problem in as many aspects as possible, produce solutions together and spread advocacy.
